The narrative evoked the essence of the TV show “Cruel Summer,” filling the void left by the series. It’s not a carbon copy, but fans of the show will likely find this book equally enthralling. The unexpected twist at the book’s conclusion took me by surprise, a testament to a well-crafted thriller. While some may find the ending a bit far-fetched, it resonated with me. I’m curious to hear others’ thoughts on this compelling tale.
